CFVC Technician Role Summary
- Technicians support veterinarians with or in examinations, hospitalized patients, surgeries, medical histories, client communication and education, care recommendations, prescriptions, radiology, dentals, bloodwork, labs, and in utilizing safe restraining techniques for the safety of all pets and people.
Employment Details
- Full-time employees work an average of 35-38 hours per week. We understand that working full-time is a big commitment. For this reason, we offer you the following benefits:

- 40 hours PTO (first year- it goes up from there)
- 24 hours of Sick Pay
- Seven (7) designated paid holidays. as weekend shifts. The bottom line is- we’re investing in a work life balance with our policies so that we all can enjoy our lives.

- Reimbursed certification and or license renewal fees.

- Compensation:
- Technician pay is determined by license, certification, and or experience. Once your qualifications are understood, I will be able to provide you a more accurate amount. Until then, the starting point for technician pay is: LVTs ($20 p/hour) CVA I ($16.50 p/hour), and experienced technician ($16.50 p/hour).
About Us
- We are located off I-30 in Royse City, TX, about 30 miles east of Dallas. We have a Buc-ees located to the west of us, about a 10-minute walk away. We are still quite rural, although this community is growing!

- We have an amazing process for support and training. Country Friends practices best medicine- we know that you want to get off to a great start, so we take time to teach and give you time to learn. CFVC’s initial training timeframe is called an “90-day introductory period.”
